Tuning Problem?

I brought my car to a tuner shop to get 2.8 pull/ 60lb injec/ and belt installed, along with a tune last Thurs. They called me today and told me they could not get the injectors up to 1.0 and only could get the config up to .08, there fore it could not run correctly and could not dyno the car yet. Everything is installed but they came across this problem and even called into EFI live to find out why. They said if they can't figure it out it will cost an additional $400 to fix the injector mathematics and set it back to 0 to get the config correctly. Has anyone came across this problem? And why the F*ck did this happen?!@

EFI Live?

You tell them you already paid for them to tune your car and that price you paid includes everything softwarewise they would have to do to get it tuned. Extra money because this is the first cobalt they've tuned sounds like a bunch of BS!

Are u sure u don't need an fuel injector driver to make a low impedance injector work on a high impendance system.

for hptuners u need to manipulate the tables to run 60lb injectors if thats what u mean...why are they using efi live anyways?

Not sure why they are using EFI. Is EFI more complicated?

Oh these guys are supposed to be pretty good too. I don't understand how it can be this hard. What is the process of tuning the 60's? I remember him saying something about the long horns etc... anyone of you guys know?

no its easier to use but more expensive than hptuners u can read alot more tables and just how efi live is set up its alot easier to understand imo

It's assumed...you can't install the 60's with the stock harness

At this point maybe you should just pay for the install and get a canned tunned?
