Turbo guys check this out...
Well, since I'm using the same EVO III 16G on my Integra I was looking for some information and stumbled across this. I have toyed around with the idea of the same turbo on my Cobalt because it would suit my power goals well and the LSJ falls nicely into it's compressor map. My Integra with it's old small 16G was phenominal, so I cannot wait to install the better EVO III 16G. With that said it looks as though the GXP guys have come up with the same idea, but are just a step ahead of me. I can't wait to see their results since the DSM guys regularly get high 300's to low 400's whp out of this great turbo.

Wow, I guess no one has love for the older EVO III 16G. Oh well that's good for me as it'll keep the prices down on them! At $510 they are a steal!

^^Are you talking about Hahn's Super 20G or just a regular 20G? There is a difference between the two for sure. The EVO III 16G is a tried a proven turbo that the DSM guys have been using for years to lay down high 300's into the low 400's. The turbo is very reliable and you will get full spool at 3300 or less rpms which is badass for a turbo on a little 2.0L that can still manage to push out the airflow to support that sort of power. Plus, it's really small in exterior packaging making it easy to fit in tight places as it uses the same housing as the small 16g. The wheels inside are lighter and belt out just as much CFM's as an 18G puts out. Unless your aiming for well over 400+whp the Super 20g is just a bit big. But for people wanting 350-400whp this is the best bang for the buck.

Cold weather sucks! I usually have the opposite problem though. It's me usually trying to work on a car when it's 105* outside with crazy humidity and mosquitos the size of humming birds attacking!
