TurboCharger in line with SC

Alright I have been reading some of these posts and you all seem to know your cobalts, i have heard it is possible to but a Turbo inline with the supercharger on the '07 SS S/C 2.0L. has anyone heard about doing this or know if it is possible? i know on the race engines we build it is possible but they also arent street legal. Also how much is the max horsepower to push out of the 2.0? say that money wasnt a factor how far could you go and still be street legal?

twincharging is not the way to go. tuning nightmare. instead look more towards a single turbo set up, its def. the cheapest for the performance gain attainable. some people are running over 400 whp (paul)

Yeah a local kid when twincharged but last I heard he was going straight turbo as he was having alot of tuning issues. With the turbos of today there is virtually no lag.

not true...

completely depends on the turbo size and your application.. but either way there will always be some lag.

Big Power = big turbo = big lag... its physics cannot dispute it.

car companies today put VERY small turbos on to reduce the lag
