tvs vs hahn's s20 kit
I have the hahn kit..
Its a total blast.
But it really depends on what you want.. mostly where you want your power... as that dictates at what point your going to take advantage over other people...

Id personally go Hahn hands down. Sure alot of guys think the TVS is cool because not as many people are running them but turbo opens up way more doors down the road. Its easier to create more power with the turbo and overall I believe its much easier on your engine. You would be running internal temps upwards of 250 degrees whereas with the s20g you are lucky if you ever see 100. The versatility of the Hahn s20g just makes this a no brainer. Oh and stay the **** away from twincharging. Your gains with twincharging are minimal vs just the s20g and the only benifit of twincharging to supposed to be to help the lag with most turbos but the s20g has virtually no lag and spools very quickly. I have the hahn turbo and I dont want anymore bottom end because I still need to feather through 1st and 2nd. Also, twincharging is a bitch to tune for. As far as comparing turbo to the TVS as apples to oranges thats like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford focus imo. Just soo many more benifits of going turbo.
The hahn kit is super pricey. You can piece a turbo kit together cheaper and have a much better set up. Personally I think the twincharge kit is awesome its well priced runs strong no lag sounds amazing etc. I don't see how it would be any harder to tune for really, but hey its css.net one person says its hard to tune for and then no nothings post that up in ever thread.
I agree 100%. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an Area47 fan. I will recognize what he's done, but I too am frustrated with his secretness. I'd like to learn from somebody knowledgable, not have somebody who claims they know it to be fact, but not back anything up. Evidence is how people are convinced.

I repeat my prior statement.

BTW, let's not turn this thread into something like the other 426 TVS threads, ok? Thanks

I hear you on that. Can't argue that the numbers were not made. But like you said, motor blew so. It definitely says something.

Can't wait for the Vulcan intake manifold. I think it'll open up some of the potential of the TVS that is being held back by the stock IM. I think that part will change some opinions in this thread.
Bottleneck on this car is the head. My next major mod will probably be a ported head with springs/valves. But it's so much money.
