Car threw a code cylinder 3 misfire light came on then went away then started flashing.. Cleared the code everything was fine for a week. Last night was trying to boost the car and fell on its face. soooo today changed the plugs , the spark plug on the drivers side in the middle was missing the tip?? What causes this? Should i be conerned? The car runs fine now i changed the plugs....

had that happen on our race car once. that was yucky. other than that i couldnt tell you the cause. sorry.

My only concern would be that the part of the plug that came off did not scrape the cylinder wall. I had a tip of a plug break off but it was due to improper nitrious usage.
