Question Unsure...help plzzzzzzzzzzzz

I have a 2006 ss/sc and the mods i have right now are a stage 2 kit, with a cold air intake, possibly smaller injectors but not sure, this stuff was done when i bought it...When i bought the car, it pulled great, but it seems like now there is a delay or something when i mash on the gas...and also it smells like my engine is over heating, but when i check the temp gauge it reads normal...i also have a pos dnx muffler, not that it matters...lol...is there any mods that are easy to do that might solve my problem, whatever it may be?...maybe i need a cooling mod...any ideas?...

Not smaller injectors, but bigger injectors. Yes with smaller pulley you should have cooling mods. Get an scangauge so you can monitor your iat's

Other than the stuff already said I remember reading about the throttle body getting clogged up with stuff too. Might want to pull that off too and clean it up. Definitely can't hurt anything to clean that up too. I had an intercooler pump go out too

Intercooler is easy. If you see flow in the neck your pump is working. No swirling or turbulence in there means no flow. The throttle body is easy too. Disconnect the CAI and its single connector and a few bolts and it pulls right of the supercharger.

It almost sounds like a clogged cat. What's the boost gauge reading?

it reads like 13 or 14, im not really focused on that though when im driving...lol

ok, so i started the car, let it run for bout 5 mins...is the intercooler pump the clear thing right infront of the supercharger, and it kind of sticks up?...if so, there was no liquid or anything running through there...should i fill it up with something?....and i will check the throttle body later i guess

yes, the site glass is right infront of the supercharger. you need to fill your system up. if you look down at your stock heat exchanger there will be a bolt on top of it to make it easier to fill up with coolant.

You can buy dex-cool just about anywhere, even walmart or something like that.

Yeah, but the only thing with going to another coolant is that he has to drain and flush the system because you can't mix dex-cool with standard coolant.
I'm not saying I like dex-cool, I don't run it in my car, but I drained and flushed everything when I swapped motors. I've seen the result of mixing the two and wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they like spending money!

I just realized your in Iowa, too bad you didn't post this last week, I was down in DesMoines Sat, we could of run some logs and checked your IAT2's. If your running low on coolant or it's not flowing a quick check of the IAT 2 would confirm if the intercooler has a problem.

oh and stop stepping on it until you work your issues out. I know it's hard, but you will save the engine.

lol, ya i figured that out...i think i am just going to set up an appointment up with the local dealership, and have them do it. So basically i need to have them do what?...just flush all fluids or just the inter cooler and the cat to see if they are clogged?...i just got the oil changed in it last week
