Up to date Reflash

I'm sure I saw a link to a GM site on here where you put in your VIN and it tells you if you have the right/latest reflash. I searched high and low, can't find it. Anyone know??

I put my own stage 2 kit on, and I just realized I never got my PCM recalibrated? Is that bad or do I need to do that?

No not you the Stage 2. I have no idea what it means either, just a bunch of mumbo jumbo about heavy AC loads and recalibrations.

why are you worrying about a reflash? Is there something wrong with your car? I know i've stated this before, but i have an 05 and i have one of the first stage 2's on the market and have had no problems and found no need for a reflash.

go to another dealer, the reflash fixes many 'potential' issues so just cus there are no issues with your car doesn't mean that none can happen. It isn't up to the dealership to decide when a reflash is needed. The only reason we knew about the updated flash is cus another member from phx was having issues and when I went to the master tech here at bill heard he found the updated flash and noticed all the things it fixes.

Awesome! Thanks! Getting my PCM flashed tomorrow! I'm going to change my plugs this weekend so we will see if I was running lean or not!

i've heard that reflash (at least one, not sure what else has been updated) updates were for issues with throwing lean codes causing the car to possibly run in limp mode and that the update just widened the parameters for that code.

So anything that shows up under the PCM section after i put my vin # in means it neads a new calibration?

Also can gm tech guys give my car a better tune if I talk to them about it?
