Upgrade Help

I just bought a 2007 SS/SC, it's already at stage 2 with intake exhaust etc. The pulley is a 3" and i wanted to go smaller. What else will i need to change or upgrade when I switch to a smaller pulley?

Pretty well limited without going to 60# injectors at the same time.

You will need to upgrade your fuel injectors to 60lbers if you want to get a smaller pulley and you have to retune for it.

Here is a stage kit with everything you need

I've looked at both those packages. I'm already at the GM stage 2 though, so could i just get the injectors and pulley without buying that whole kit and just have a performance shop retune the PCM?

Yes all you would need is new pulley with new hub 60s heat exhanger wiring harness for new injectors and a custom tune.

It has been proven that you can safetly run a 2.8 on the gms1 and gms2. I have seen it myself on numerious lsj's including mine and we beat on our cars everytime it is driven. yes the injectors will be maxed on the gm tunes but also remember that the gm tunes are set to run a little richer. Have never seen an injector break from the pcm requesting over 100% from the injector.

ran my car for 13,000 miles on stock tune/injectors with just the stg2 pulley/i/h/hp and idc was 152%(see sig) now that probably wasnt the safest but ran great.
