Money is tight since I couldn't pass up the offer on the Piston group buy. Plus now I have to get cams...no point being right there and not doing it right.

Rod is a great guy to deal with and hopefully this car turns out every way he wants it to.

trusting a shop 50hrs a way to build the perfect street machine is a very very stressful and hard task to manage.

Hey victory! How long has your project been going on for? Could it actually be longer than G5Mike's cam swap?

 

His project easily surpasses Mike's cam swap. It even exceeds my cars entire down time in the last year which is quite a bit!

 

 

Exciting! So what are you doing for a trans? A built auto from the Phase 5's?

 

I think I have everyone beat as far as down time goes. I yanked out my engine May 21. '06 so 2K5SS/SC and G5Mike are short timers compared to me.






If I answered that question I would be giving away my secret. I could likely be bribed though.

The car won't be driven back, it is going to be shipped. To many miles to put on the engine in such a short time. I will be taking it to a few tracks this summer, at least as far as Edmonton\Calgary, but for that trip I went out and bought a enclosed trailer to keep my mileage down and the car ready to race when it gets to a different city.
There will be pictures in the not to distant future. The really good ones may not show up until after the magazines publish, simply because they all ask for exclusitivity until after the first shoot is published. Once the car is unveiled there will be plenty of pics and video.
