My car does the same ******* THING. I have been told to clean the throttle body. I think there is a sticky thread about this in the 2.0 LSJ forum. But my car usually bounces higher like 500 to 1500rpms sometimes higher.

why was the speedometer moving when it did it? Looks like it went up slowly, or were you just rolling? at 7:10

Could it be maybe the tune? Since the cold weather could be affecting something with the a/f? Im not certain but I don't think I remember my car doing this when it was warm but I may be wrong.

no, car compensates for weather changes using maf and map sensors. Tune adjusts for weather on the fly. That's why you don't need to retune every time the weather changes.

its gotta do with own electric throttles maybe?

like how there is a delay when u blip the throttle fast say in neutral...but this could have been due to my small exhaust leak haha

My car does this too, but only 2-3 times... My AFR goes Full lean when the RPM's drop, And go back to normal (14's) when they return to 1000 RPM's.

Glad some likes it haha. It could def be throttle related since it does it both when i hit the clutch in nuetral or if i touch the throttle. My exhaust leaks are 99.% gone

I'm going to clean my throttle body next week when I can get to the shop, If not it may be a fuel issue, I do know it was only doing it when i ran 94, It does it less now that i'm back on 91.

tuning for a header swap realy isent needed cooling mods do not affect tune i would look at the tune for your problem and dont beat on your car in cold weather the pcm dosent adjust/compensate very well

It will most likely have something to do with the tune.

Idon't know.. I have tryed everything.. cleaning the Throttle body repeatedly, everything lol nothing seems to work. Hopefully yours does not get as bad as mine, mine bounces idol everytime i put the clutch in no matter what i am doing. I went to shift into 5th gear on the freeway and jsut that split second idol bounced up quick then droped dead lmao.. my car just seriously staled threw gear shift at 75 mph on the freeway. It's rediculous, and overly frustrating... I do need a good tune tho since I have my exhaust never had the chance to retune.. Who is running a pretty good tune nowadays?

Im yet to actually test it for leaks but ive replaced a line or two that looked cracked, the rest 'looks' ok for now. Just did an exhaust leak test the other day and fixed two little leaks it had. Good insight it could be vac who knows lol
