Watersoaked Air filter?

Drove the car alot today, all around, and it was POURING all day, along with the snow that melted there was lakes on the road as much of you in the North East probably know. Tonight coming home i went to downshift and pass someone and everytime it got to 4,000 rpm it would bog down and the wideband would pin at 10.0. I know im getting fuel, im thinking wet filter?
Anyone second opinion on this?

I had the exact same problem, bought it with a factory air box so I assumed it was factory right? Well I was wrong, it was just a bunch of plastic, gutted except for a small dirt filter. but it was a fried MAF. Not cheap, and not covered by warantee because of your intake
