Welcoming another Red 06' SS/SC
Well boys, after much research and an awesome test drive I picked up my Cobalt Monday and couldn't be happier. I already have about 450 miles on her. All my buddies love it and are jealous and that makes me feel quite dandy!
I will post some pictures up. It's got a Moonroof, leather without those inserts (didn't care much for them) without XM and Onstar. I don't listen to radio so I really didn't see a need for it. I will try to steal my fathers camera today and take a few shots of her. She is bright red. I paid 150 bucks upfront for them to put the clearcoat on thats warrantied for 5 years so I don't have to wax it. Also got the extended 5 year/75,000 Warranty. Car runs awesome and I have already got SO much attention in it and alot of thumbs up.
I owned a modded 1996 Trans Am Ws6 right before this so I know what fast is and the cobalt is DEFINITLY fast. I ended up getting mine with the GMS pricing and got an out the door price of 20,800.
Anyways I should be started to mod quite soon so you guys will see me on here quite often!

Congrats on the car! Victory Red is nice.
I have driven a 2002 Camaro ss with all the SLP goodies (345 HP). From my experience, that was much faster than the SS/SC. That is just my view though. For what it is it is quick, but there are much faster cars around. I miss V8 RWD performance.
