guys im jw how reliable exhaust clamps are over welds? i have a resonator and muffler i want put in, but my local exhaust shop blows. so i was wondering if i cut out the sections i want themin, and fit it up, can i use exhauts clamps to join them and it be just as reliable as welding it or will it leak more? and if clamps r ok what clamps do you recommend?

 

clamps are not going to pop off and cause your car to explode. a few people have the issue of them coming loose, but not many. I personally get everything welded because I don't want to be 200 miles from home and get an exhaust leak and not have a way to fix it
