I tried searching but couldn't find the exact answer to my question..

What is the best inlet to use when making a custom exhaust.Most of the Magnaflows I have seen had an offset inlet but I've seen mentioned a center inlet is needed.Will a offset inlet / center outlet fit fine?

 

on my 2.2 the best fit was center in offset out. all the exhausts are the same so that should be fine. i have a flowmaster 50 series delta flow, but have a header back waiting for me to have time to put it on

 

Anyone else?

 

lol i have it on my car. it works. if you put the center inlet right up to the stock piping, the offset outlet is perfectly centered in the exhaust cutout. and im sure magnaflow has a center in/offset out
