UPDATE what do u think?

there is a guy in town with (as far as i know) a zx3 focus with turbo with i think 10 lbs. of boost and no further major modifications and he wants to race me. with my mods, how do u think i would do if i were to go from a 40 roll? thanks

i would say with a good turbo he might be pushin 250. you are pushin close and your prolly geared better than a focus. i think you got him.

as a former focus guy with a jackson racing supercharged zx3. depending on the type of kit. he may be able to take you. depending on tuning the zetec has 120 to the wheels stock
and ive seen most run around 200 hp to the wheels with out going outlandish
so.. its a toss up without more info.

my only advice is to never say something along the lines of "come on, it is just a little ford focus" again. those are the races when you get your ass handed to you

race and see if you win easy as that. No one can help you because they dont know what the car has in it and how bad a driver or how good a driver he is.

i think you got him. from a 35-40mph roll, thats good 2nd gear pull, you'll have a good lead before he spools up.

yea so i raced that turbo focus and got him by about 2 - 2 1/2 cars by the time i let off. i was still pullin on him tho. i expected him to catch up after his turbo got spooled but it didnt happen.
