What do you like/dislike about the ZZP 3" Downpipe?
I'm looking for some feedback on the ZZP 3" Downpipe. The few opinions I've heard so far have been mixed. Some say it makes a loud whistling noise, others say they are really happy with it. Any info would be appreciated.

I had the 3" ZZP DP (cat-less) on my car. I liked it so much I gave that to my bro and got the mid-lenght header/DP (still 3 " cat-less) for my car, along with the ZZP 3" cat-back. You can hear air rushing through the DP when you hit the gas pedal, sounds kinda like whistling but it's not too loud. All in all I love the ZZP DP.

I already have the ZZP header and GMPP exhaust waiting to be installed. I'm just trying to decide what DP to get. Rebel Autoworx makes an awesome 2.5" DP, but they want $360+tax (13% in Ontario!). That's a bit much for a frickin' DP!

zzp for the win. i run their 3" and its perfect. i see people get 2.5 all the time and its pretty gay once you start making power and they are like, "oh, ****! i have to get a bigger dp to push more air." just get the 3" with 2.5 exit until your ready to go full 3" all the way out. take it the muffler shop and fork over that 50 bucks to make it happen.

But, as bumpinbalt said, for every good review about ZZP, I hear something going wrong with someone's setup.

IM also on the line, I was going to run the 1 3/4 header with the 3" DP and a 2.5 bolt in exit. Im just worried about codes and it ishould just replace verything with 3 instead of 2.5 although i heard 2.5 is fine with the 3" dp

Downpipe is good, but my flex pipe broke off less than a month of being installed. header is also good, just that damn flex pipe. Also the whistling goes away after awhile.

Does anyone know if ZZP includes the correct bolts now? I know for a while, purchasers had to get a new set of bolts considering the ones ZZP sent with header and downpipe combos broke.

i doubt it...i supposedly got the new ones and they broke...its really not a big deal as long as you get some new bolts before you install it..they're like 5 bucks....dont wait till they break like me...

Also, what is better? 3" with 2.5" exit for my 2.5" exhaust or 2.5" all the way? I was also wondering if the shorty or midlength header is better.
Another question. High flow cat or no cat? What are the major differences?
