What to get?

Injen Intake or Interceptor gauge??

I have a gift certificate to a website so idk what to buy...

The only thing i really want from the interceptor gauge is Knock, is there something else I can buy that can show me that? Other than that..id like it for looks.

ive been thinking about this for days....and both are awesome!

i did the airbox mod and WOW i love it especially with my pulley. but it threw a code, so bye bye to that...took it off, reset the computer, NO MORE CEL....so im trying to think here.....what to get, what do you guys think? for the hell of it

Ummm go with the gauge till the stage kits come out and we find out if it will fix the CEL problem with intakes.

bro, if you have no other mods, then you dont need interceptor, if your all stock, then get the intake, simple as that. I mean if you like 2.8 pulley and crap, or something like the intense stg 3 kit or rev it up then you might need the interceptor more than the intake just to keep it on the safe side like I did. I made sure I had all the gauges, AEM uego wideband, interceptor gauge, mechanical boost gauge and egt in order to install my stg 3 intense kit.

I have a 3inch pulley with one step colder plugs. this is why i was wanting to keep an eye on things, but i see what you mean....unless i have the Stg3 kit or rev it up etc....i dont need the interceptor, BTW im not buying the GM kits im not about to drop that much more money into it...so i would be done modding after the intake....as long as shes running fine with injen intake 3"pulley and one step colder plugs, id be happy

DTEC can detect knock, also the autotap will detect knock retard.

It's a tough call both mods are worth the money, but I would pick up the intake since that will give you some more power for the dollar. Gauge gives you lots of valuable info tho.

get the gauge cause you will need it later on, cause i know you are going to be moding the car so you might as well get it now so you will have nothing to worry about.

But he just said this is the last thing he is doing to the car. Intake, Think of the Sound..... Remind yourself of the sound...... How soothing the sound is........
