first of bro, gm performance is a good upgrade by no means the best, alll they did was port out the stocker, woopdiee freakin doo. pacesetter's quality has stepped up in the past several years and have been known to be an awsome performing header, withgood quality. u go in camaro forums and tons of people are verry happy with them, get the coated ones. imo,

this is what i would do rickay726, go with the pacesetter header, its a mid tube header, so it will have more gains compared to all the other shorty headers out there. and for a bolt on non catted dp, contact exhaustdepot.com they have a non catted dp for the pacesetter that will bolt up to the exhaust. if they had a catted dp, thats the combo i would do but they dont offer a catted dp, so until someone does then i'm not getting a header.

yea but my boys including other balt owners have had nothing but problems with them and were on a balt forum it does little to know bout a camaro because of the fact that....um...we dont drive them....the pacesetters and CA and others are on the website i had said i suggested the GMPP header because from everyone i have talked to that has had them on their balts have had no problems and loved them i am doin the GMPP with and upgraded downpipe which will give me alot better reactions then the pace...

I love my GMPP exhaust and GM header. They work well together especially with an injen cai and stage 2. I have not had any problems.

ZZP header and downpipe are the best bang for your buck I've seen on our cars.

Show me a header for a cobalt that:

#1 shows some gains
#2 does not leak
#3 fits properly
#4 costs under $500

And ill show you a gmpp manifold.

I have not seen any other header on the market to date meet those criteria

of course no one is going to have issues with the gm performance one, hello its a stock part just ported a little. it better not cause any problems. has it ever occured to u that maybe the other headers have been installed incorrectly. there are plenty of people here who have the pacesetter header and have had great luck. its all about the downpipe u get or have made for it. u cant blame the pacesetter header if the dp thats made for it sucks ass.

I'm running the CA 2.5 inch catless dp. No problems here. However i have yet to see a decent header out yet. No one can seem to create a decent collector.
