What resonator do you recommend?

Hey guys, so I've had the Tsudo catback for a while, and with my BadMab header and 3" Catted downpipe, it's gotten to a point where I get a headache after a 10 minute drive. What resonator do you guys recommend I get, the ZZP res or a Magnaflow res? Or if you have other suggestions?

To be honest the whole exhaust rattles on my end lol...I think it's an issue that Tsudo and Megan both have, the build quality isn't that amazing.

Agreed. Honestly think it's a combination of my resonator and muffler. I want ZZP's whisper resonator, but I dunno how I'd get it installed.

Lol the rattles get annoying man. And well I was thinking about that, it shouldn't be too tough, you could just cut the megan res out with as much piping as you need to make the zzp res fit, and then use exhaust clamps to fit it in place, that's what I'm planning to do with mine.

Although the stainless is a b*tch to cut through lol.

That sounds like a good idea. If you got the tools to do it, I'll drive to your place and pay you some beer money.

The rattles aren't only annoying, but hella embarssing. It's so embarassing starting up your car and all you hear is raaatleee ratttle ratttleeeeee raaataatatale.

Lol I just hope it'll work, I'll probably be able to get the res in a couple weeks or so. They are pretty embarrassing haha, especially if you go to that mini car show they do every saturday in Taylor :P

2 good options.

ZZP Whisper Resonator

Magnaflow XL Straight in/out 2.5" one of the big sizes I think I used a 28" before.

Do they quiet the exhaust about the same? And would it be better to cut the old res off and replace it with the new one or to run both of them?

If your resonator now is rattling, you definitely wouldn't wanna put it back on.
Would be good to measure your resonator first, before flanges, and see how much room you got to work with. Dunno how long ZZP res is.

It's 27". Takes up a lot of room. Go with the ZZP resonator IMO. It works well.

I would get the magnaflow resonator. No rattle, check your bolts and you should be fine. If it all fits together you shouldn't hear any rattle. I have my magnaflow exhaust kit and no rattle but a nice deep muscle tone when I start her up.

Ya I threw my magnaflow resonator in the garbage after a summer. It did nothing but add weight.

Lol so I'm guessing the ZZP res is the better of the two. Does it quiet the exhaust really well? And should I clamp it in or have someone weld it in for me?

ZZP resonator for sure. I went to a Dynomax Turbo muffler and my exhaust sounded like a$$. Put in the ZZP and well you be the judge. I had mine welded in.
