Thumbs down what is taking injen so long?

I contacted hong over a month ago to get my replacement pipe, he keeps telling me "it wont be much longer" and thats all he will write. Anyone else had this problem? When i fist contacted him he wanted pics, I took them, then he said it would be a couple of weeks. My car is just sitting covered up. I have to push the damn thing to cut grass!!! What the hell is going on over there?????

I'm going through the same process as I type this. Hong asked me for pics (why would the customer lie if he/she wants a replacement pipe, NOT A REFUND). I sent him pics, NO REPLY.

Also, Hong said he would ship me an official Injen Badge designed to cover the "dent". Haven't received that either

I just wish I would've went with an XTC or Fugita. I would also have liked a K&N but there are too many people throwing CEL's. K&N also refuses to list the 06' SS/SC on their application list because of this problem.

Sent Hong an email three days ago and still no response!

Can we get an Admin., Aaron from TTR, or other vendors to contact them and address to them the situation here.

Is there anyone else out there waiting for their replacement?

Not trying to be rude but why would these people get involved in your personal matter? It won't solve anything and plus it's none of their business.

For what it's worth I love my XTC intake. I wanted the K&N but didn't for the CEL reason.

admins....maybe your right....but the vendors are the one who sold us these, and i in no way place the blame on TTR or any other vendor for getting this POS, but they do sell them for Injen and may a little pull on getting something done.

I guess what I was trying to get at as far as admins go is that over on LS1tech if there is a problem with a vendor the admins will usually step in and try to get the problem resolved, but this is not Ls1tech nor is Injen a supporting vendor.

I understand what you're saying but for one, Injen isn't a "supporting vendor" here, so if you ordered directly from Injen, than it lies as your problem only. Now, if you purchased it through Turbo Tech Racing and still haven't recieved proper feedback, than you should honestly be going through Turbo Tech Racing so they can do what they are supposed to do...contact Injen and get a straight answer. Other than that, Aaron getting involved in someones affair that was never a customer with his company is off base.

Once again, not trying to get on you but just giving you the straight up truth of things. If you chose to be independant and buy straight from Injen, it sucks but you're gonna have to cross your fingers and hope things get resolved between you and Injen and not anyone else.

Of course, I'm assuming you DIDN'T buy it through Turbo Tech Racing or any other supporting Vendor here on CobaltSS.net cause you haven't said so as of yet.

I hope things do work out. Keep bugging them...remember...the phone is your friend. Peace.

yea i did buy from Aaron at TTR! I dont blame them at all for the problem, matter of fact, he was very helpful and the service was great. I havent talked to him either about this issue. I dont want a refund or anything, just the correct fitting pipe!

You might not want a refund but that's your middle man as far as getting the product. Have him do the dirty work...that's what he's there for.

Just an FYI my Injen replacement pipe took over a month, there explanation to me was that they make them in batches and I caught them between batches.

Just be patient it will eventually show up.

At least they gave you an excuse, Hong did mention that they had just made a "batch" of intakes, but that was a little over two weeks ago! Ohh well, guess I will just keep waiting and pushing my car around to kill the grass!

Hate to kick a dead horse here, but I am still waiting!! its been almost 3 more weeks since my last post here!!!! I did get an eamil from Hong after emailing him continously for 5 straight days....it reads "We should be able to send out your replacement within the next two weeks" <-----that was a little over a week ago....no intake yet!!! I also heard it was going to take 2-3 weeks whenever I first started the process to get a new pipe. As for my middle man....they werent really ant help told me "nothing we can really do" "put the $50 deposit sown and use the old pipe" Not really what I was wanting to hear...but its what I expected. (NO I AM NOT BASHING ANYONE). Anyways I give a big to Injen on their customer service and will probably not ever buy anything from them again! Good luck to everyone else who is experiencing problems getting their replacement!

at least it will probably fit correctly whenever you do get it, and you want have to go thru the hassel of taking pictures, returning the old pipe and then waiting 3+months for a new one to arrive!!!!!
