you dont need the 50shot, the pulley, injectors, an intake and exhaust and dual pass and or meth, a mopar s2 neon is not that fast, its all about your tune

did you forget a neon has lag and is a bit heavier, mopar s2 is an average late 13 sec car, very late 13s from what ive seen

look at soccers pullied numbers in his sig, not everyone will get that good of numbers, but with the right tune, well in order to see the full potential from a 2.9 youll need an exhaust system and intake, also there are many supporting mods to help you get off the line and help your car utilize the power it has, it all depends on your mods and tune

im just gna say, you can have all the mods in the world, but they are useless without the right tune

s2 neon isnt that fast. I had a 2.8 ring, 60s, gmpp touring catback, pacesetter header and dual pass and i was dead even with a 273/309 srt4. The lsj has a much better powerband from 4500 up then an srt4

you also gotta remember that the neon is a 2.4L... almost a whole half a liter bigger.. kinda like cheating lol.

yeah i know they get alittle more power due to their cubic inch displacement but still shouldn't we be lighter than a 4dr. also what can r stock internals handle 400hp or less than that?

talked to 1 guy with a custom srt-4 which claimed he was running 480tq 425hp but had alot of money in it. i think he went with a large turbo upgrade and 100octane. i asked wat internals u got done, figured he had pistons and rods atleast, he said stock internals but beefed up tranny. I was astonished

1 highly doubtful that he was on completely stock internals also kinda seems funny that he dyno'd to perfect numbers like that so he is probably lying to you about the power. 2 you get more that just a little more power with another half liter you can cram air into.

actually the internals on SRT4s are pretty damn tough. there are alot of them over 400whp on stock internals. the ones that dont like that much power is usually driver error

srt4's have stock forged internals that have handled 600hp plenty of times. I hate the cars though. Tell your srt buddy to race you from a dig and see how those 6 inch wide tires handle the wheelspin all the way to 3rd gear
