What Would Cause This??

On the freeway last week and did a quick run against a 350Z. Started in third gear and hit the rev limiter one time. Just shifted 1/4 of a second too late when I go into 4th the car shudders and makes a loud exploding kinda sound. Factory gauges go nuts, tach is al over the place, boost same and my intercepter reads IAT2 of 305... Check engine starts flashing and I'm like ****, I just killed my car wtf its just GM stage 2 with 2.99...

After the Z catches up and blows by me, car calms down and drives like normal. IAT back to normal. I decide a minute later well let's see if it does it again. Did a pull in third again no issue.

Codes pulled
P0171- recurring
P0097
P0300 I think was the other
I checked the codes and it said low voltage temp sensor and multiple misfires

Sorry about the rant.

P0171 Fuel Trim System Lean -PCM
P0097 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor 2 Circuit Low Voltage -PCM
P0300 Engine Misfire Detected -PCM

p0097 could be a bad 5v reference wire a bad alternator

myself id tackle the p0097 code first. the p0171 code monitor does not run when your under boost, only under vacuum. the random misfire could be a result of the failsafe for the p0097. when your iat2 sensor reports something as high as 305*f its going to pull a lot of timing and quite possibly add fuel. this could cause a misfire, sounds like you had some misfiring going on.

follow the diagnostics for the p0097 code first.

What would that be? I realize the P0097 is the issue, just replace the sensor?
