If you had oil where DOC described you did, then you blew your motor long before DOC's tune. You just got even more crazy on it I assume after having the tune, out of excitement and blew the rest of it.

Oil stays in it's place when your car is okay. As soon as you start seeing oil, start freaking out.

Nope, it hasn't been disconnected for a LONG time now.

well, if you want to go back to ProMotion tuning and have them flash your old tune back on I'll pay the $100 for the credits.
I'm not going to be able to make a trip up there before I leave on Tuesday.

Actually, pm Zinner, I think he lives closer to you. I'll pay for the credits either way.

Well I'd like to try the downpipe and tightening the exhaust first and see how that helps. If not, I'll figure something out...

Another tidbit of info. The a/f ratio is right on 12.0-12.2 then suddenly dives immediately to 11.5 then steadily drops in the 10s like before the tune. It's hard to watch both gauges but I think it's a safe bet to say it drops suddenly from 12.2-11.5 when it detects the knock whether it be real or the most likely false knock. Yall agree?

He flashed my car with his tune and we test it down the road and immediately I notice the improvements all around. Just was a bit too lean at 12.3 so he made some adjustments and got it to a good solid 12 flat which is where I wanted it. Again we tested down the road like 3 times and the car performed just as I wanted. Also, I asked him about the knock and he said I only get slight knock during shifts which is normal(burst knock).

Nearly a week later though, it's like a completely different car. My interceptor gauge reads upwards of 5 degrees of knock. My wideband is back down into the 10s as it was before the tune plus I've noticed the last 2 days at random times if I downshift and go WOT, it'll feel like it hits a rev limiter at between 4-5k then clears out. I totally don't know what the hell is going on and I'm open to any all suggestions...

I've thought it could be a clogged cat or some exhaust rattle or something along those lines but IDK. I've also thought where I have my interceptor gauge power source(sunroof), I could be getting some of the electrical bus noise I've heard about...
Ask DOC.. he tuned it.

when you hard tune with hp, the tune stays set. done. there is slight variances due to weather changes and other things. this is the beauty of the mas air.

if you say someones tune blew your car up. id first take a look at the kid behind the wheel beating the crap out of the car
