Whats wrong with my engine??

Ok so the car is running like absolute **** and misfires hella crazy. I think its the spark plugs bc when i put them in (2 step colder NGK's) I accidently broke the little tip off of the plugs and then i thought well if i regap them to the broken point it will be fine. So i did that and the car after i floor it lets say from a 40 roll will sputter and misfire for almost 2 seconds then it will take of fine. Sometimes i will boost and i wont go any where like the car fell right on its face. I dont think the engine is blown, but someone please help me bc tomorrow im putting in new spark plugs and the 2.5 pulley so PLEASE HELP

why would you reuse a broken plug?????? thats probably the problem right there

Sounds like you answered your own question! Replace all 4 plugs and see if that takes care of it.

Nah I think it is the intake.

i would also get some cooling mods to support that 2.5 or even 2.6....
n/m didnt see ur cobra H/e
but yea swap the plugs and let us know.

lol i was just seeing if that was the problem bc i thought it was that and i reused them bc i had no other ones bc the ones i took out were bad

think running a dual pass and a cobra H/E witha 2.5 you would still need a meth kit?

yeah and the smartass tried to hide it from me too!!!!!!!!! I wanted to freaking kill him when he told me. He wanted to blame it on my tune!!!!!!!!! after I gave the car like 1.10 pints richer in the afr table and it would stay the same he finally decided to tell me about the plugs.! the car would NOT richen out.

dual pass does show the best bang for the buck in cooling gains though, or you can make it your self, ask blown 4 banger... I talked him through that one.

yeah we are hopoing its not the injectors stinkbomb. However ive seen a couple of bad injectors latelly being shipped from intense thats why I told him. But we gotta wait.

Adam!!! lol im coming back in town thursday man and we are gonna have to chill and ride out. I dont know but i gotta lay off the gonja bc my car is suffering from it

My turbo Del Sol did the same thing with perfect Platinum +4's in it. I spent weeks trying to find the problem. Finally I went to a local performance shop and he rode around literally sitting in my engine pulling plug wires as I drove. He brought me back in and put in the cheap 99cent NGKs and the damn thing ran fine. Stupid performance plugs.

Anyway the point of that was that it is definitely bad plugs.
