Nope, its been shown that there is a cut at 158 mph once HP Tuners became avail. For a long time no one thought there was one.

 

 

Pulled over doing 139 mph on our way to prom years ago in our blown Caddy STS...no ticket!! Luckiest day of my life.

 

145 with my sort of Stock SS/SC, plenty of pull and road left, but **** myself when I saw how fast I was going, and how fast I got there lol. Fastest I had gone before that was 109 (limited) in my cavy.

 

did 125 in my stock ss/sc. i didnt want to push my luck...i have a driving record a mile long. fastest before that was in my z24 limited at 106mph(automatic z24)

 

I've hit the limiter on the GS Parkway.

 

I have had my completly stock SS/SC up to 145. Slowed cause a bend was coming up in the road a ways up. have to be safe when doing this

 

There is this long straight strech, going downhill aswell, I hit the limiter going a little faster than 250km(250km=156.25MPH), this was almost stock, Mods in sig, before that on a flat road, I could only get it up to about 235-240 before I ran out of road.

 

Had her up to 265 km/h (165 Mile/h) and she was still pulling hard. I shut her down b/c I scared the crap out of myself. LOL

 

I hit 145 going up a hill. I let off on the other side.

Looks like you have GM stage 2 with no HPTune....that has a 158 limiter as well (254.38 km/h) not trying to be a dick

Had my car up to 145 with my magnaflow catback exhaust. Seemed like it didn't want to go any faster but that was fast enough lol. I really don't care about top speed that much, as long as my car can hit like 120-130 that's all that matters. That's why i'm hoping some company makes gears for our cars

 

Well I don't know what to tell you. That's what was happening. I bought this car from a dealership, Jekyl used to own it maybe he did have it tuned. Just not sure what they did he is sending me his dyno charts and a few other things when he gets out of the patch.

dude i have a 2.4 and like i said eirlier its 130 our tires arent made to go any faster but past 130 is really hard anyways considering mine is stock besides a drop in and yea i was that guy dumb enough to buy that turbonater bull **** and it's still in may get 22 mpg but thats pretty good considering my entire weight is on the gas half the time

 

no way bud.. stage 2 maybe 245.. stock you should be right around 200-205. if you had 245hp... you would be handing it to stock srt-4's

but to answer the original question.. i had her up to around 135 with a cai.. there was definitly some more speed there, but i just ran out of road

I know how fast my SS/SC goes stock but I'm smart enough not to post it online.

I almost never say do a search but you seriously should have because there are probably 2 dozen of these threads on here.
