i want to know what is the better way to solve the wheel hop probleme on ours cars...which part should i buy and how much money should i invest to eliminated that...thank a lot....show me some link if you have

 

theres tons of threads for this subject...most common solution is a strut tower bar. u can also take it a bit further and get poly motor mount and/or trans mount.

I haven't heard of thestrut bar helping any, but motor and trans mounts will help. Also JBP has some ureathane control arm bushings that are supposed to help, I haven't seen any threads confirming it yet.

 

there has been many threads on this subject, bushings WORK! Either eliminate or come very close to eliminating wheel hop. Bushings with a engine mount wil take care of it. Good rubber and lighter wheels wouldn't hurt either.

 

ZZP motormount will cut down on it a lot. You will still get some wheel hop on rough pavement but it's a huge improvement over stock.

 

Well i have a good question... whats a good way of getting rid of some wheel hop but at the same time keeping the vibration in the cabin down... which one would do the best there?

 

id go with the bushings

 

jbodyperformance.com sell some poly bushing but it says fit ion redline and non redline...no mention of cobalt ss...and over 200$ for 2 bushing...did someone know if they really do the job...i mean is that a good investment...and finally it is hard to install...thanks for your help

 

And trust me , just a strut tower brace wont do a thing for wheel hop . Mines does it just as bad with the STB .

If you drop a tire size and increase your side wall it will absorb more of the impact and create less wheel hop. I have none with my 245-45-17's. I was going to order trans mount and motor mount but now I don't need them.

The bushings fit regardless of trim level. Definitely worth investment. JBP has been putting out some wicked products
