My cousin and I have an 07 cobalt ss/sc and we are on its third cat now. But we just notcied it clogged again! so we just gutted it this time tired of dealing with it. But does anyone know why it does so easily? I have never had this problem on my turbo cars.

Tune is needed (guessing), what pulley size do you have and what size injectors?

 

3.0 pulley
corssa catback
injen cold air

But when the cat clogged the first two times we were stock so that isnt it.

 

Ryan, simple answer. It is a GM brand...Most cobalts run to rich.

 

yeha i kind of figured after seeing how much black smoke this thing poors out all the damn time! well i guess it better the runningw ay to lean. But it is gutted now so no worries anymore just was getting pissed why it was always clogging up.
