why does my car stutter and shudder?

ok i want to get to the bottom of this. i've searched the threads and havent found much in direct answers, so for anyone else thats had this problem, please let me know what you did to fix it

SYMTOMS: Mostly on cold starts and pretty much driving off, for the first few minutes of driving the car will stutter while in gear, like i'm going along and it feels like the fuels gets cut out in quick bursts. also, once in a while AFTER the car's been warm and driving, it will 'hiccup', like i just lose all my power for a split second.

Engine in general kind of vibrates alot, and seems to go through 'cycles'. as in, every few seconds on the dot you can feel the engine do something like a misfire.

I've heard MAP sensor, plugs, fuel injectors, maf sensor...

I've cleaned the TB real good, and am yet to check the other things. looking for someone thats had the same experiences and issues im having so i'm not taking shots in the dark by buying parts i might not need.

Thanks a ton, will explain more if need be, just ask questions.

Car has 38k on it, no issues minus this stuff

well idk if i solved the problem yet but i cleaned my MAF last night, ordered new NGK BKR7E spark plugs, and while i was at it checked the oil. interestingly enough, i was overfilled by over a quart! think its because my buddy was dyslexic when we did my oil change 2 months ago and thought the manual said 7.4 qts

Yeah over oil could be a huge issue.

Do not put those plugs in your car, they burn up quite easily. They're too cold for the car.

If you do replace your plugs use the correct temp range.

Unless that's what you've been tuned to run... Run whatever spark plugs your tuner said to run.

I never recommend them, they caused a detonation issue with my car and I know of two other cars that burned these plugs up after only a short time like <30k miles.

Just a side note though I am running GM Stage 2 and a GM 2.99 pulley

The BKR7E is like *the* plug that most LSJs love to run on though. Even if they burn through them pretty quickly. I got 7 months and about 7k out of mine. If that extra $30 every 6 months or so is going to bankrupt you, get out of modding cars. Gotta pay to play.
