My question is why not go smaller than 3" on the pully? and if so what kind of problems will i be running into? because if i'm not mistaken the intense stage 3 kit uses a 2.6 or something like that.

First of all, stage 3 uses 2.8 which is almost near MAX to what the supercharger can handle with our redline (6500rpm). Second, you just can't slap a 2.8 on without any fuel upgrades because your engine will blow up (not literally but you get the point). They use a maf translator and fuel injectors to dump more fuel into the engine making it safer to run a 2.8. On a totaly stock car now, I belive the lowest you can go and still be somewhat safe is a 3 inch pulley.

what he said with the addition of that you can get a 3 inch pully and just put it on, and not have to spend $600......

do you have to have the special tool to pull the old pully or can you just use a like a harmonic ballancer puller?
