Wideband?

When getting a downpipe it asks if you want the O2 bung for wideband. do you need to have this or in what situations would you want this? what are some pros and cons of having or not having this included?

I believe a wideband tells you your air/fuel ratio. It's necessary if you have boost. other than that you shouldn't need it.

might as well get the extra bung on there, close it off until you're ready to buy the gauge. Less work in the future because you won't have to add a new bung.
