Wideband question

I want to install a wideband before I add a stage 2 kit, just for peace of mind about leaning out. Can I swap out the o2 sensor for the AEM sensor? Will I start throwing codes if I do?

I suppose my only option then is to drill and have the fitting welded in....sounds like a PITA.

^^ can anyone confirm this? ^^

Edit:

The whole reason I want to get the wideband is because I'm getting the ottp stg 2 kit. I will be keeping the canned tune for quite some time. Will I even need to bother with the wideband to monitor the ottp canned tune?

bump

not until you are ready to do more to the car, such as another tune or meth maybe. my friends ott tune commands 11.8 AFR and gets 11.8-11.9. Ott did a good job on the tune

wideband is always a good investment. As temps get colder these cars will get more boost thus leaning you out. Dont remove the 02 thats just asinine. Get a bung welded in
