I agree...Injen, Fujita, or K&N but I know some people can't afford them so whatever...this is better then the stock one or the air box mod...

it looks to be all there, but yeah, the filter is def. on the wrong end.

if you're really going to go all out, get the RAW 3"

To be honest , a properly done airbox mod will prolly make the same HP on a dyno as a intake does. The sound is louder with a CAI but i doubt the difference is more than 1-2 hp.

Air box mods looks like **** and it's then impossible to back to stock unless you buy another airbox

Yeah looks aren't the best but how many times have you torn the car apart to show people your Filter? I bought a 30 dollar airbox as a back up incase i had to take it in for something major.

you always can use the stock intake and cut the bottom off and put a cone filter on there. its the same as having an aftermarket intake and its really cheap!

I know it's there and I'm fussy as **** about my car. I think my neighbors think they live next to Adrienne Monk (the OCD detective from the TV show on USA). Personally I would just save the $$$ for a few months and buy a proper CAI...

Stop being cheap and buy something that is backed by a reputable company.

I got this intake from someone on this site. They said it was a "custom" intake and at the time I wasn't familiar with this one. It came to me a little hacked up, but it fit fine. I think you'll need to alter it a bit to make it fit well, but once it's in it sounds pretty good. Never been to a dyno, and the gains, if any, are too small to register on the ass-o-meter, but it's never thrown a code in the 2.5k miles I've had it.

The maf looks really high on that (meaning you'll get t/b codes) but it's cheap so...it'll fit a 2.0 that's the proper routing; quality looks okay but you weren't asking for that.

You'd be surprised the difference in quality between name brand and generic ebay stuff...he'll get the same gains as any one of the 2.0 intakes with the exception of the k&n.

i had problems with my eaby CAI, and i remember reading about it on here from other members about this time last year. i started throwing CEL's after i installed it and it actually made my car slower. i would launch and about 2500-3000rpm power would just fall flat. after a week i had bought and installed the K&N and no CEL's and it was 10x better.

but i remember reading that if you cut/grind the end of the intake where the filter goes, you should be fine.

what exactly do you mean by the maf looks really high? just curious because i looked at a pic of a name brand one and they look similar.

They have the filter on the wrong end. The MAF sensor is supposed to be bear the air filter...
