I honestly dont think buying a brand new intake is worth it because they are like $200 bucks, but if you can find one used for like 75-100 i think it is. Otherwise just airbox mod

I have a 100% bone stock intake on my Stage 3 SS.

Honestly, just get a header/dp/2.5" catback and be done with it. The car is good at sucking, it just can't blow as good as it should.

lol.

With an intake the whine is AWESOME. I had an airbox mod, the intake definitely made the whine better, but performance wise, who knows.

The whine is awesome on the SS/SC, if you get any name brand intake, make sure it is Injen.

Find an injen intake lower than on www.TurboTechRacing.com just let us know, we should be able to beat it

I like the airbox mod but would like to know I actually have a real intake. Can you beat the $175 dollar deal https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/injen-intake-%24175-03-free-shipping-210597/ ? if so I'll take it

Honestly I would do just the airbox mod. It's cheap and very effective. Other things are more important like Chris stated.

I had an AEM (came on the car when I bought it used) and I recently had to take it off (it was sucking up water, and I was running into warrenty issues) and I miss it. It made it sound better IMO. Once I get the water shield Im putting it back on.
