meth lowers IAT2's, i dont think its the cause of blowing engines, u wont blow from going rich, atleast it wont be as easy as going lean, chances r the tuning was crap if they blew and blame it on meth

Meth is great for our cars. Does an awesome job cooling the air. Don't know what you mean about blowing motors just be careful and get a good tune and just don't run outta meth

^^^ You end up with a blown motor if you are tuned aggressively on it.

i'm tuned for 90/10 meth/water @10gph. and theres people tuned even more aggressively. i haven't blown up. nor will i. plus...if you're really worried about it, just keep your back seats down and turn your head and look at the damn tank.

there is a level indicator so you know when you are low.
if you dont tune for it then you wont have a problem running out, if you tune agressivly for it and run out you could have big problems.

my tank with 4 injectors lasts 2-3 months but i dont hit the gas just to hit the gas, some people run out in a day

i was worried about it when i first got it but if you have the proper monitoring equipment you will be fine........wideband, interceptor. I have mine activated for an 8-9psi kick on with the tvs and it can last for a long time or 3 days, depends if i stay out of boost or not.

the interceptor CAN be a wideband gauge though if you bought the sensor

The reason people blow there motors usually when they run out of methanol and go wot is because they have there timing advanced quite a bit. Methanol helps suppress detonation and has a very high octane rating, this in return allows you to run more timing. However if you are running a lot of timing, say 25 degrees and run out of methanol, you will more then likely see SEVERAL degrees of knock which can result in blowing your motor if you keep your foot in it, also there is the aspect of going lean, but usually its the knock that does it.

Methonal made a night and day difference in my car. I am now running a 50% mix instead of the windsheild wiper fluid and I upped the timing quite a bit. My aggressive tune holds 24 degrees no problem. I have ran 25 with no knock but bumped it down a hair to be safer. When Im Daily driving I run 22 degrees of timing. Overall I have no regrets about using methanol. I say go for it

Methanol is a pain in the butt (because i'm paranoid of running out, clogged nozzles, popped fuses, etc).. Lol... But I've got it and I'll never go back without it!..
