to my understanding, the OEM injectors are pretty maxed from factory. So any upgrades you do besides intake and exhaust would probably push the idc's too far. Don't want to go static. Besides, stage packages go pretty cheap around here. If you search around, you can find a gm stage 2 for around 150 or so.

the reason why everyone does a stage kit is because they're the cheapest way to make more power efficiently. Like I said earlier, any additional mods on the stock injectors is no bueno. Those things will go static very easily. If price is your concern, try OTTP or ZZP's stage kits. They're very worth it.

Boosted: it depends on what you find, but I've seen a brand new kit not that long ago in the FS area for close to 150 shipped.

well, it sounds like you have an interesting idea. I just don't have much faith in those injectors. Slap some 80's on there & throw some e85 in it and I think you'll be happy...

if you're not lookin for huge gains, 42's would be perfect. But if you ever consider getting a smaller pulley, then go ahead and get some 60's. Also, zzp will give you 10 bucks for every OEM lsj injector you send them.
