wtf

so im driving normal about 55 and my car starts sounding like a subaru so i give it some gas to watch the boost guage to see what it does, crushed filter im thinking. only hits 5 pds of boost. so i pull over and pop the hood to see oil is flying everywhere and has covered everything smokes rolling i almost broke down and cried. then i noticed the oil stick was poped out so i place it back and put oil back in it. drive 10 minutes and it does it again. pull over same thing. happens 3 times in about 30 minutes. anyone had this problem whats going on here. i have stage 2, 2.85, airbox mod, and gmp exhaust.

Say goodbye to your ringland

Do you still have the boxer sound?
Also check the tailpipe to see if there is white smoke coming out

danm this has me worryin..im running on the 2.85 and so far no problems yet except for the injectors hating me at higher mph(130+)

im guessing he doesnt have step colder plugs so that might have been a issue

Depends really, if you put stock parts back on you probably wont have a problem.

well my dealership is cool they go by the if it wasnt the aftermarket parts fault we still cover it which they have from the beginning. but anyways. i just went out and started it, it runs fine, idles fine, has a little bit of a boxer sound, isnt blowing white smoke, other than the fact its cold outside. i love this car so damn much and i dont think id ever get another ss sc if something happens to this one. i lost a marriage over this car(and the fact she slept with everyone while i was deployed overseas) i just want everythng to be ok. ok everyone group wiji board were bringin this bitch back from the dead.

so what would cause the motor to blow in 5th gear with cruise set at 55mph. i just dont get it. i take care of the car and rarely get on it. just to say ive had the stock clutch in and im at 34700 with the stage 2 for about 24000 of those miles and not once had a clutch problem. i dont drag race it and i rarely take it over 110 max. so why.

Dude you i had the same problem as you. no white smoke, but the exhaust sounded deeper right? do a compression test... mine was a blown head gasket, all rings were fried, and i had a couple cracked pistons.. so thats what i rebuilt my whole bottom end.
