wtf is this interceptor doing?!?!?
i hooked up the interceptor yesterday and i am so confused! i am watching IAT 1 and 2, knoch retard 1, 2, and 3, engine load, boost, and i forget the other one. where should the knock retard numbers be? why are there 3 different settings for knock? for some reason mine are reading like 75, 135, and some other insane number. why are these numbers so off. i do not hear any engine noises. also where should my aem wideband be at?
Interceptor on my car for knock is set to thr knock #2 iat 1z should be around ambient temps iat2 should be around 25-35 more then ambient temps usually with supposrting mods iat2z will be lower if u have the correct knock setting it'll say 0.0 and hopfully stay that way..... And wideband wise they'll hove say14.3-15.3 . My car goes about 14.4 - 15.1 at cruise and idle and wot I get a reading from 12.8 down to a 11.3 at top end. Low end is 12.8. Then steadly goes to 11.3 at top end at 5300 and 17lbs of boost
11.7 is still safe but I have better results with my car at top end of running a 11.3 plus u r turbo and 2.2. So how u like the 2.2 tc feel pretty good. Oh yeah my car will only hit the 11.3 and the 12z when I hit wot mark which is for my car since I tuned it at 85%
feels amazing the turbo will finally be broke in today 500 miles runs pretty good just have to do some tweaking with the mbc and put on the heatshields for the turbo when my bolts get here tomorrow.
Sweet I want to go turbo ..... But I wanna dyno my car first because for sone odd reason my car keeps up with my buddys 350 whp evo 365 Sti and a 400 whp ss camaro with the ls1 ... My motor is built and I tune myself I am just curious on power. If I got turbo I was thinking the gt35rs with te zzp exaust manifold and make my own intake
