Xtc Cai ??????????

I just put in my newly purchased CA XTC CAI. i was wondering if i should put a hydrosheild on the filter. im a little worried about water. plus i live in mass and the weather here changes as much as i change my underwear. yesterday 70 and sunny today 40 and rainy<- sucks any input and comments are appreciated thx guys

i was thinking the same thing do we need to protect our after market Intakes from the water or is ther no threat?

bump

what about a bypass valve (heard somehwere they're not good for superchargers or turbos) where the 2 pipes connect?? or hydrosheild?? or dont worry bout it??

I have the XTC intake. Since it uses the stock air box, there really is no major need for it because hydrolock would be extremely difficult to obtain. I put one on because I had it laying around. Your choice!

I had the xtc when i had my cobalt, its a great product 3inch intake, loud, uses stock air box, proven dyno gains.

proven 10hp gain.. you can def feel the diffrence and damn it sounds good. and no its not dryflow. you can get it at cobalt-addiction.com. $200 shipped.. you can't beat this deal.

sorry to side track, but camaromanss1992, where in MA are you located? I'm on the cape and there a a TON of other members in MA and NH. we're trying to get more meets and cruises going and you should definetely come along. watch the norhteast regional forums for info on meets and such.
