XTC Downpipe Fitment Question HELP

Will the XTC downpipe fit my cobalt SS with no problem if i have a stock header and the GMPP Catback exhaust? The flex section on my downpipe broke and it sounds like ****, so this is a hopeful replacement. Should it work?

pretty much pulls the o2 sensor out of the downpipe since the xtc downpipe uses highflo cat your o2 sensor is going to throw a code

no issues.

worked on my stock and works on my C/A v1 header.

it will throw a code 3-5 days after install. p0420. not a code to worry about. i've been running it for 3 years

I ran that exact setup, stock manifold and GMPP catback with an XTC 3" dp. Only problem was the flange on the DP exit was too big for the catback, I kept blowing gaskets until I got a copper one. A 2.5" shouldn't have that problem though.

if it throws a cold, just go to AutoZone and they'll clear it.

you'll notice a slight gain because the stock dp is so restrictive. as far as exhaust tone, it'll get slightly louder but nowhere near as loud as a catless dp.

good thing i'm a special ed teacher, i was actually able to read your post.

this is the interwebz, you don't have to use proper grammar.

anywho..... there's no sense in telling him to buy something he probably won't need.

i'm thinking because of your mods (gm stg 2) that you'll be fine getting a 2.5" high flow cat dp.

I had it tuned at raceproven motorsports. They did a good job, couldnt actually gain any power but they made the car much better and easier to drive, and kept the same amount of power even after taking a bunch of degrees of timing out.
