To you G85 peeps

Can you tell me how the LSD has helped you? I know a lot of people say "ZOMG LESS WHEEL H0P$" but I want to know how people feel about the LSD tranny. Is it stronger? Better off the line? How much better? Clutch and tranny last longer? Shorter?

I know some people may look at this as stupid, but I feel like there should be a thread weighing the +'s and -'s of the g85.

it helps around corners but does not do much in a straight line.. if one wheel starts to spin it opens up. Its not a locking differential. It does nothing at for you in the winter either. i have a tc but im sure they use the same lsd

only difference is LSD... not stronger (better traction and grip inturn equals better performance)

It helps pull the car out of corners faster than an open diff. Strength is the same. Even if you don't have the G85 you can still lay 2 strips of rubber down in a straight line. If you like auto-x, road racing, cornering etc... get the G85. If you just like drag racing you don't need it.
