Was your cobalt boost limited untill X miles??
I see so many people saying these cars are boost limited for the first X miles you put on them. My car saw 12.5 psi the day it left the show room. Everyone I have ever asked has said that they saw full boost from day one.
So I would like to see some answers here and maybe get this figured out. I personally believe the cars are not boost limited for any ammount of miles. One big reason being if I go test drive a car and its performance is limited due to the low miles and the car is a performance oriented car, I would be like ummm wtf. That is if I didnt know the car was limited. I see no place in the manual that says anything about the boost being limited.
LOL at my double negative in the poll.

Nope, but then again I bought stage 3 for both of my SS's the day I bought them. May 17, 2006. Straight from the dealership home with both cars right to the webs to buy the kits. I honestly only bought the cobalts so I could modify them LOL!
But when it comes to pizza.....I'm really dirty.

anycar will make a little more power after it has about 10k on it and the engine is broken in. there isn't anything in the programming to make it have lower boost until xxxxx miles.

Yep, ran ~10psi when i drove her off the lot with 63 miles on her. Wasn't until ~1000 miles later did I run 12.5-13psi. Weather could have had an influence though, who knows.

Well, I literally bought the car with only 3 psi of boost. I was looking under the hood after I bought it and realized the connector to the boost control solenoid was not plugged in, so I connected it and BAM 12.5 psi! It was like a present because it was like getting a whole new car a day or so after!
