The ZZP 3 inch CAI for the Cobalt

I was thinking of originally getting the Injen CAI, but I have since read that it causes unsolved rough idle issues which turns me off right away(which makes me think that it could be you need a throttle body or fuel upgrade but I could be wrong)So I was looking at the ZZP Cobalt CAI 3 inch with the option of powder coating....does anyone have that installed on their Cobalt SS/SC? If so would you say it is the best for the application? Thank you in advance =D

I love mine. No problems at all. People had issues with brake lines with '07's but i have a '06 so mine is good.

ZZP 3" intake. And I've heard it hits the brake lines and you have to bend them.

What is the install time of the ZZP 3" and how much do you have to bend the brake lines

I bought the 3 inch for my 07 SS/SC and yes it is a bitch of an install. Your brake lines will be in the way of a perfect fit, however i was able to force mine into place with some old fashion elbow grease. The pipes from the Throttle body and the bend pipe going into the wheel well are not perfectly square, however the couplers are long enough to prevent any leaks of any kind. If they made the bend on the second pipe a little more extreme to clear the lines, and maybe added an inch to each end the fitment would be spot on, but they dont call it aftermarket for nothing.
