Trying to buy a 3" intake off their site but I can't find it. Anyone know if they are back ordered or whats up with it? I would assume they are not open today but I called and got the voicemail, which usually happens any time I call.

Why would they stop making it since so many people talk so good about it?? I gotta try to get ahold of them tomorrow and see whats up. I am NOT going to buy from OTTP, too many horror stories about late shipping and no recieving.

 

they probably stopped making it because the cars are getting old and everyone already has an intake and its costing them more to make them then they are receiving in sales.

 

Now what the hell am I going to buy? I don't like the Injen that I have and wan a true 3"

 

they are back ordered on them. I just ordered one last thursday and got an email the next day saying that my shipment will be delayed a week or so because they are out of stock

u gotta select intakes and whatever else. it's not under the cobalt ss sc portion of the website like it used to be.

 

It isn't as easy of an install as they say. Sure you have to drill a hole under the headlight but why? You have to take the entire headlight out. That's not even what really bothered me about the install though. Trying to get the coupler on was a PITA, you have to fiddle with it so much. Word of advice. Get some WD-40 and spray the coupler when you put it on the pipe.

This is simply my experience with the intake. Other than that it doesn't rub or anything. Don't get frustrated when installing it. I have lots of mechanical experience too.

 

Did you get the intake yet/install it yet?!?! That unrestricted whine is sooo addicting.

 

I had a similar experience but it was just getting the curve at the just the right angle kinda screwed me up. Definitely a good product. Fits good after the battle lol

 

If you would have read my post, ZZP wont have it back from Powder coat till today or tom and then they ship it to me

 

I just need to get one so I can get rid of the Injen I have on there now. I get a jumpy idle but with the filter off it idles smooth, think the combination of the filter and smaller intake is too restrictive.

I had the same battle. Wow, I was frustrated. Other than that I love it.

 

Yet they say it's a simple install, why not make it a one piece with the same bracket as everyone else?

 

I couldn't tell you. The filter is huge on this intake. That could be why. I wish I took a picture of the filter itself. It's massive. Just buy it. It's a great intake.
