ZZP H D/P Installed.. Need a muffler?!

Okay, so I just finished installing my ZZP header and down pipe. It sounds like absolute ****! I beleive this is because I am still running the stock muffler.
Which mufflers sound good on this setup?
Thanks!

Welllllllll There's your problem.

You might want to get a resonator to fix the issue.

Definitely get a resonator. I went with magnaflow and I love the sound. I think they make a 2.5" as well as a 3". If you're on the stock system get the 2.5", eliminate the restriction over the hump and get a high flow muffler and you should be ready to go.

Just get an actual cat back. Like Magnaflow, GMPP, Corsa, etc. It will sounds a lot better with that. It sounds like **** because you went catless and you cut the resonator off.

Get an actual resonator, it's what makes the exhaust quieter and less raspiness, exactly what you need.

Which mufflers sound good on this setup?
Thanks!
I'm going to say you have a gasket leak...I have a vibrant h/dp to the factory cat back sounds pretty good when it's not leaking.

Just read this...yeah it sounds like **** because you deleted the cat. If you have the factory cat back you still have the factory resonator...nothing really is going to make it sound not raspy or dump truckesque.

You deleted the resonator as well? I hope you're not planning on doing any highway driving it will destroy you!

another reason why srt is better then cobalt...put any bigger exhaust then factory, with cats, no cats, nothing, and it will still sound beastly....

but yea, put a resonator on. zzp has a whisper resonator that acctually works wonders.
