ZZP Header Quality?

I am considering getting the ZZP midlength or longtube header, haven't decided on which. I know that ZZP has revised these headers, and on the previous versions I recall hearing of people having problems with them leaking around the flanges.

Are any of you all running the most current version of ZZPs midlength or longtube header? If so, have you all experienced and problems with leaking flanges, welds, etc. Replacing the header looks to be a little bit of a time consuming job, so the last thing I want to do is install a part of low quality.

Do any of you all have any video clips of either ZZP header on the stock catback? My car is pretty much stock for the most part, so I'd be interested in hearing the difference in sound

I have the long tubes on now and I like it. I don't think you'll find anyone who doesn't like them tbh or at least very few.

Top notch quality. You won't be disappointed.

The new longtube is in no way related to the old system they used to sell, so don't even consider the complaints on the old system. The old one leaked because of a 2-bolt flange that it used to mate to the downpipe. I suspect a little bit of installer error is to blame. Most of the well experienced people I know that ran it never had an issue.

ZZP Longtube= primo. Got one myself, installed many. Also installs easier, fits better than similar brands.

Will just a longtube, with the rest of the exhaust being stock, make the car sound like crap or the exhaust overdroned while cruising? I looked to find clips with just the header installed but could not find any? For those that have it, do you all have any videos of it? I a curios on how this will change the exhaust note

on the long tube post tim was askin for a way to revise the way they mounted the o2 bung for wideband to clear tunnel n i suggested slight angled to the ground and powell said for the short wideband sensors parallel worked, but for longer ones my way would sound like a winner n tim said ill get to it, just wondering were it went and the outcome of the revision if anybody had demo'd the product yet?

Any chance you could get some before and after video of the exhaust? I'd like to see how the long tube will change the sound of it. Maybe a couple underhood installed pics too

I am really hoping that it is not going to be raspy or have drone to it

So the install did not go well....lol...the down pipe bolts all came off except one. I am taking it by the shop in the morning to have it loosened then I will install the parts at my place. Stay tuned. Note that this is not ZZP's fault. Its the fault of rust and the atmosphere. I tried heat with a lighter and pb blaster for about 2 hours to no avail.

If its just the bolts connecting the header and downpipe, just break them. Bolts are cheap. Bust that nut.

I got it all installed this morning. Sounds great and looks great. Fits like a glove. Removing the factory parts was the only major problem. We got the cobalt on the car lift and it just all came together. I couldn't charge my camera because some jerk left the charger at their house and forgot to bring it to the shop this morning. Ugh!

If you meant me. I am still running the stock catback. In about a month or so I will replace it with the ZZP 2.5 catback. Just for the sound. But if I have enough money then I will just buy ZZP Stage 3 kit.
