I just thought it would make the whistling sound that people talk about with standard ZZP DP's less audible. lol
Maybe I will just sell them BOTH and get a ZZP mid length with 1.75" primaries and 3"DP.

You do not want back pressure... back pressure is bad..

back pressure with our cars = less air movement = less power.

You would just start backing the air up letter less flow through.

you would want the larger DP with the smaller cat back, not the other way around.

If you have a 3" catback.. youll almost need the larger primaries.

Wayy too expensive.

Bumpin Balt 01-21-2009 09:17 PM

Wow! That's a nice DP, but it's a little too pricey for me. I will wait until I get GM Stage 3, then I will buy a CIA header/DP setup.

ShortStack 01-21-2009 09:24 PM

Dude, if your gonna break warranty, theres alot more you could do with that money over a stage 3..

Bumpin Balt 01-21-2009 09:36 PM

There are no decent local tuners and I can't afford to go turbo. I have done my research and Stage 3 is my best option. I'm not going to buy a Stage kit from someone who may or may not know how to tune.

Some dealerships will still honor your warranty if you have GM Stage 3.

ShortStack 01-21-2009 09:38 PM

Not saying go turbo... im staying in the stage 3 price range...

OTT actually does know how to tune.. every single one of there stage kits has gotten 9 thumbs up... and it produces more power than the stage 3 (unless u are running the race gas mode)..

cost less too :)

Nope. Not every one of their customers was happy with their Stage kit. I was considering their kit, but I was PM'd by a member who had a bad experience with their tune and OTT didn't rectify the problem. GM Stage 3 is still my 1st choice.

ShortStack 01-21-2009 09:47 PM

Very odd... infact.. i find that HIGHLY unlikely...

You have to realize thats one person, out of many...

The fact that it comes with 60s, and not the 42.5s makes the entire deal...

The next time you want more power, your going to have to get 60s, so thats an extra 200, then your going to have to get a retune anyway, so theres another 200..

You will save ALOT of money.

Also, you going to be okay with no air conditioning?

OTT has helped me with several problems, and im not even a paying customer at the moment.

Bumpin Balt 01-21-2009 09:48 PM

I can't stand AC! lol. WIndows down and the sunroof open FTW! I might give them a shot. I am going to keep my warranty intact for a while yet.

ShortStack 01-21-2009 09:53 PM

Good.. im sorry, i dont mean to barage you.. i just wish i knew about it before i did my GM stage kit... i wasted a good 400 dollars now...

yea ac ftl when its like this in florida.. when its 100.. i cant go without it.. lol..

Just showin ya the options!

Bumpin Balt 01-21-2009 10:33 PM

No problem. Thanks for lookin' out! I can't decide what I want! Can ya tell? lol

We only have 1 unsatisfied customer.....EVER! and he is unsatisfied because he refused our help. We shipped him a replacement pcm after his dealership flashed his tune back to stock, he refused the shipment. Now months later he wants another pcm sent to him after he filed a charge back on his credit card. And since we won't ship him another pcm unless he pays, he chooses to bad mouth us. You be the judge...:)

Owned, wish I could be staged lol damn 2.2

Thanks for clearing that up. I may consider buying your Stage kit. Why did the dealer flash his PCM back to stock? Did he ask them too?

ZZP Mid length setup SOLD!

Sometimes flashing the PCM is part of a normal service procedure, or diagnostic procedure.

What? I asked you by e-mail if you guys tuned, didn't I? I don't think you answered me, so I assumed you didn't tune! lol

So if I take my car to a dealership for work, I should tell DO NOT FLASH THE PCM?
