zzp midlength header

So is the zzp midlength header just a pacesetter with a different collector, is it stainless steel, and what is the outlet size on that header? What would be another reasonibly priced midlength header/downpipe combo? I will be ordering something here in a couple weeks and I am just looking for some more information. I have been searching but I haven't really found what I am looking for.

Does it bolt to the head without modifying the nuts that hold it on.

i just installed mine last night, worked real damn good
until i lew off the nuts that hold on the downpipe.
i guess meth and a 2.6 will do that.
my advice grab some grade 8 bolts to attach the header to the downpipe, you can thank me later....

They come with a new gasket right and I see you guys go the painted how is it holding up. I think I might just get the ceramic coating but I wouldn't mind saving $120

If you put in the comment line that you want the 2 flange bolts replaced with grade 8, we can do that for no charge. You have to ask in the order though, it can't be in a separate email.

Redline 24 - i didnt have to modify any of the bolts, everything bolted up nicely. There was a few tricky ones though.

Chevysalesman614 - no man, i literally broke the bolts, heres a pic or 2

pic of bolt that stretched and blew off

and pic of seperated downpipe and header after bolts broke.

Zooomer - I love the header and all, but no offense buddy, for the price we pay, we shouldnt have to ask for stronger bolts, i think they should come standard. Saves alot of headaches for everyone.

All in all, even with the broken bolts, and a slight leak i cant pin point (only happened after the blow off bolts) The header was by far one of the better purchases ive done. And i kcik myself for not ordering sooner.

Does the GMPP Performance Exhaust have a cat in it, or if i go catless on the ZZP DP will I have no cat at all on my entire exhaust? I've been looking into ordering the header and dp combo as well, I wanted to make sure that everything hooks up together right and I don't end up without a cat when the cops pull me over... sigh it happens at least once every two weeks for me. Bastards stop me for no reason just to check my license and ask me what mods I have done to the car >.<

same thing happened to me... was testing it out on I-87 and i hear a ping so im like **** thats not good. then i start to hear an exhaust leak and me and my friend just look at each other. then few mins later i hear a second ping and the exhaust get insanely loud so we pull off and see the d/p just hanging. got a new gasket and some stronger bolts and its good to go now

I like the zzp one because it has a 3 inch collector. Area47 what size is the collector on the pacesetter.
