ZZP stage 3 kits

I have GMPP stage two kit on my car now, with a ZZP intercooler. 60 lb injectors. What all do I need to step up to stage 3 ZZP and is it even worth the money? I plan on having enough money after I buy either a CTS-V or a TBSS, to do so mods to the balt. I know the trans, is going to be a weak link, but as long as I am careful, is it worth it?

Pretty sure if you already have 60lb injectors you could just slap a 2.8 pulley on it and have what a stage 3 kit could get you. You would need a tune tho. The stock trans should survive more abuse then a stage 3 kit can give it unless you rot the hell out of it.

If I use a trifecta tune, would that work? The trans shifts fine. Ill be upgrading the shifter this week. Stocker is way to sloppy for me.

you'll be fine. just drive it right. 2.8 and 60s is pretty common with lsjs. It'll be a fun little car... make sure the tune is on point and you will have no problems.

Trifecta can tune you for the pulley. I still have a trifecta tune with my TVS since i have no one around that knows anything about hp tuners. I may not be getting all the power out of it since trifecta is conservative. But I have used them with every mod Ive made. Started out with 60s and a 2.8 down to a 2.6 with meth inj and now the TVS. I have no complaints. The car hauls ass. lol What shifter are you getting?

GMS2 does not have 60's it has 42's

You need a lot more than a stage 3 to break a trans unless you walk around with a helmet on the daily

I built my own kit. Used pulley, and intercooler. I went 60 lb injectors to be safe, and to allow further mods.

The car has a exedy single clutch kit that has 3k miles on it. The trans itself and the half shafts are all that worry me. I don't do any drop launches at a light. I dig only. As long as I hook, and don't over rev/miss a shift I should be fine correct?

It's all good, bought them new. I just knew I would want more. 60s were a bit much, but at least its one less thing I need to change.

wheel hop is what kills axles and sometimes transmissions more then anything. There are a few places that sell rotated trans mounts. They are pretty much a necessity for eliminating wheel hop lol. I got a set of stage one axles from zzp when i did my gmpp clutch kit. Haven't broke one yet, but I'm easy on the car from a dig.

I don't dump the clutch. My trans feels plenty strong. If it broke it would be driver error.
