also on whether or not you want to buy NB Shafts. Neutral balance shafts are all for high RPM, and you should get valves first to attain high RPMs and then camshafts and maybe even a port job so that you can notice gains. I can rev close to 8000 rpm, but I feel nothing in gains above 7k because my cams won't allow enough air and my M62 just heats up.

i just did the delete bushings; bought some used zzp shafts and they looked awful so didn't wanna risk it

Is there a cutoff date where ZZP neutral balance shafts were not to spec? I have a pair from Aug 2012, I haven't run my car more than a few thousand miles in the past 2 years, but I'm hoping that they don't ever seize.
