06 head on 07 motor

will a 06 head work on a 07 motor. i know they will fit...i just want to know if theres something special with the cam sensor that i have to know about. thanks

Checked the GM parts cataloge. The '06 head is a different part number than the '07 head. The reason why is because the '07 engine uses a cam sensor supported ignition system and the 06 does not. Physically the head will bolt to the block but the provisions for the cam sensor are simply not there, sorry man.
